Welcome to July and the second half of 2008. This is the best time to revisit resolutions/goals set at the beginning of the year. Perhaps some resolutions will not be met; perhaps some of them will be transferred to 2009; and perhaps some of them should not have been on the list in the first place. I had the pleasure of attending the 2016 Olympic Committee meeting for Community organizations today. Well, it will be interesting to see how the West Indian community begin to prepare to get a piece of the Olympic pie if the City of Chicago wins the bid.
