My West Indian people, other nationalities in the Chicago area are already acting as if the City of Chicago has been confirmed as the host city for the 2016 Olympic Games.
They are mobolizing themselves for transportation, housing, food, and other incidentals that the expected minimum 1 million people per day is going to need access to.
What are we as West Indians doing to grab a pie of this economic windfall should the ICC issue a resounding YES to the City of Chicago on October 3, 2009?
If the West Indian Community wait until October 3, 2009 to begin positioning themselve it will be too little...too late for us.
When will we as a people stop procastinating?
