The HIV/Aids pandemic is at catastropic proportions in the West Indies. First reported case of HIV/Aids in the Caribbean was in Jamaica in 1982. Here we are 20+ years later and the Caribbean is second only to sub-Saharan Africa.
43% of the ladies on the islands are infected via heterosexual contact.
